Sodium, Epithelial Channels
Cambridge Bioscience, through our collaboration with ChanTest, offers access to screening services to the following epithelial sodium channels:
ENaC
Gene Name: SCNN1A, SCNN1B, SCNN1G
Validated Assay/Platform: Manual Patch Clamp
Description: The human SCNN1A, B and G genes encode the heteromeric ENaC channel, a constitutively active, amiloride-sensitive Na+-selective ion channel. ENaC expressed in kidney and colon is a therapeutic target in hypertension, congestive heart disease and inflammatory bowel disease.
Platforms Available
