Pooling & Superpooling

Cambridge Bioscience offers access to a BAC library pooling and superpooling service from Lucigen. This service enables the quick and efficient identification of a sequence of interest from even large libraries.

System
The BAC library pooling and superpooling system consists of pooled clone DNA (from a BAC, fosmid, or other library) arranged in 96-well plates and organized so the specific library address of a sequence of interest can be determined with as few as 59 PCR amplification reaction. Most clones can be identified with only two rounds of PCR screening.
