Endothelin
Endothelins are proteins that constrict blood vessels and raise blood pressure. There are three isoforms the most common of which is ET-1, which is formed by cleavage of the proenzyme big endothelin by endothelin converting enzyme-1. Elevated levels of endothelin have been detected in patients suffering from myocardial infarction, pulomonary hypertension and cardiogenic shock.
Cambridge Bioscience offers endothelin antibodies, proteins and peptides.
