DNA Methylation

DNA Methylation is a rapidly moving research area in Epigenetics, with the relatively recent discovery of the so called “6th base” 5 hydroxymethylcytosine (5 hmC), in addition to the previously well known “5th base” 5 methylcytosine (5 mC).
