Automated Cell Imaging System - JuLI™ Stage

Cambridge Bioscience offers a fully automated, CO2 incubator-compatible system for digital multi-colour cell imaging. Recording cell behaviour in real-time or time lapse via a user friendly interface, the JuLI Stage creates high resolution images and movies for publication or presentation simply and quickly.

1. Wound Healing
Multiple positions across a wound can be visualised, the recovering surface can be quantitatively analysed and wound healing time-course experiments can be performed producing exceptional results in real time.

2. Time-lapse Images & Movies
Multiple images across different time intervals can be captured and multicolour images and movies generated using single or multiple acquisition channels.

3. Growth Curves
Growth curves, monolayer confluence and cell morphology can be studied over extended time periods with graphs, images and tabulated data easily exported.

4. Fluidigm® Applications
High-quality results can be achieved with with Fluidigm® integrated fluidic circuits (IFC). Cells can be imaged automatically, cell viability can be recorded and cell counts can be performed with high sensitivity and accuracy in each chamber of a Fluidigm® C1 IFC chip. Fluidigm is a registered trademark of Fluidigm Corporation.

5. Image Stitching
Multiple tiled scans of an entire well  can be taken and then brought together to create a single stitched image. Tissue sections, stem cell colonies or multiple cells can be viewed in each well.

6. 3D Spheroid Culture

Integrated z-stacking enables focussed images of multiple areas of 3D cultures with a couple of clicks. Spheroids and other cell formations can be monitored without worrying about focus.

7. Fluorescence Expression
Cell confluence can be measured using brightfield and fluorescence channels (GFP & RFP). Transfection efficiencies and cell survival can be simultaenously studied in each field of view.
