New Ultra Sensitive BetaMark Beta Amyloid ELISA Assays

Covance’s two new BetaMark ELISA kits for beta amyloid x-40 and x-42, offer researchers ultra sensitive tools for investigating the diagnostic and therapeutic value of these two beta amyloid peptides.

Alzheimer’s is a disease that presently affects over five million people, a number that is expected to quadruple over the next fifteen years. There is no known cure and diagnosis can only be confirmed post mortem. Cerebrovascular deposition of beta amyloid protein is a common pathologic event in Alzheimer’s disease and certain related neurodegenerative disorders, and there is compelling evidence that the c-terminal cleavage point of beta amyloid determines the aggregation potential of the peptide.

Human Lactoferrin ELISA Kit

New from Bethyl Laboratories, an ELISA kit for the detection of Human Lactoferrin in EDTA plasma, urine, and milk. The kit contains sufficient components to quantitate Human Lactoferrin protein concentration in up to 40 samples, tested in duplicate. The range of the Human Lactoferrin ELISA is 1.56-100 ng/ml.

MetaPath™ Multiplex Microplate Arrays

MetaPath™ arrays are built on the well-established sandwich ELISA concept. Multiplex arrays extend this concept to very high-throughput by spotting the capture antibodies in arrays on the bottom of 96-well plates. Detector antibodies with enzyme-linked tags are then added in one solution, and the relative amount of each target is read by an imager.

ELISA Quantitation Kits

Bethyl Laboratories quantitative ELISA kits contain an affinity purified antibody, calibrator and HRP conjugate. Each kit contains reagents sufficient for 1000 single well assays.
