Product Category: GPCRs
GPCR Expressing Cell Lines and MembranesOur GPCR (G protein-coupled receptor) targets are stably expressed in recombinant cell lines, providing high expression, and low background. We offer researchers cell lines for different budgets. Our replicating GPCR cells come with or without a modified CNG tag. These cell lines express a modified CNG (cyclic-nucleotide gated) channel along with several different GPCRs. CNG channels are activated by intracellular cAMP causing cellular depolarization, which can be detected with membrane potential (MP) dyes (and calcium dyes) on a FLIPR. To order these cell lines, you will also need to order the Membrane Potential Dye Kits (Cat # CT-80500201). Cell Biolabs GPCR Signalling AssaysG-Protein Coupled Receptor (GPCR) signaling involves extracellular signals that trigger a cascade of intracellular responses via a series of membrane-bound receptors. Key to the regulation of the GPCR signaling cascade is the involvement of cyclic AMP (cAMP) and cyclic GMP (cGMP). One of the key functions of both molecules is to activate Guanine Exchange Factors (GEF), which in turn play a role in the activation of G proteins. Please select a category from the list below: |
