Leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) is a member of the leucine-rich repeat kinase family of which variants are associated with an increased risk of Parkinson's disease and also Crohn's disease.
Generated with support from the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Cambridge Bioscience offers a highly validated mouse monoclonal antibody specific for LRRK2 from Covance. This antibody was raised against a peptide immunogen comprising amino acids 2069-2087 of the LRRK2 protein in mice that did not express endogenous LRRK2 protein, in an effort to elicit greater antigenic reaction and higher affinity antibody. This antibody is effective in immunoblotting (WB), ELISA and immunohistochemistry.
