Cytokeratin is expressed in the majority of epithelial cell types and can be used as a marker to differentiate most carcinomas from other tumour types such as melanomas, lymphomas and sarcomas. The monoclonal cytokeratin OSCAR clone is the gold standard antibody for detecting cytokeratin across a wide range of epithelial tissue types and carcinomas.
