The extravasation of leukocytes into tissue is a crucial process in the inflammatory response. This co-ordinated sequential process involves rolling, tethering, tight adhesion and subsequently extravasation of the leukocyte between endothelial cells into perivascular tissue. The CytoSelect™ Leukocyte Transmigration Assay provides a robust system for the quantification of leukocyte-endothelium interactions and transmigrations. The kit contains sufficient reagents for the evaluation of 24 assays in a 24-well plate.
