Diabetes Type 1 Cells
Diabetes mellitus type I (DT1) is a autoimmune disorder that causes the destruction of insulin-producing beta cells of the pancreas. The subsequent lack of insulin leads to increased blood and urine glucose. DT1 is generally treated directly with insulin.
Cambridge Bioscience offers a portfolio of human dermal fibroblasts from diabetes type I diagnosed donors with accompanying lysates, cDNA and RNA. These cells are ideal for research into skin diseases, wound healing and skin development.
