Diabetes Type 2 Cells
Diabetes mellitus type II (DT2) is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose that occurs when cells do not respond appropriately when insulin is present (insulin resistance). Studies have shown that there is a strong inheritable genetic connection.
Cambridge Bioscience offers a portfolio of human bone marrow mononuclear cells containing CD34+ stem cells and human bone marrow stromal cells from diabetes type II diagnosed donors. We are also able to offer accompanying lysates, cDNA and RNA. These cells are ideal for research into the immune system, stem cells, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.
