Currently we are seeing the dramatic expansion of functional studies in the post-genome age. Our focus is on new technologies that can reveal the mechanisms underlying cellular processes and to make the link between genes, proteins and patients. In pharmaceutical research we are concentrating on methods that can help drug developers to make safer, more effective drugs that target the individual patient.

We’re also adapting quickly to new communication methods. Through this new website, along with a powerful new Customer Database, we aim to make your experience of working with us more personal. We want to understand your needs better and provide you with the information you need, when you need it and to adapt with you as your research evolves. We always welcome opportunities to work with new Partners that have developed innovations which can benefit our customers. We are now increasingly working with supplier companies that can provide complex service based offerings and those seeking to reach a wider European audience with a single commercial partner. In particular we are targeting the Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Diagnostics industries with this approach.

In this coming year we will also offer, for the first time, instrumentation that complements our reagent products. We would be interested to hear from manufacturers that have novel systems which address complex biological challenges.
